The legendary Meat Mafia returns with the Meridian charity BBQ! For those that don’t know, this annual event started in 2017 when Hurricane Harvey devastated the Houston area, and fellow residents wanted to come together to make a positive impact on their community. It is a group of dedicated men in the neighborhood who stay up all night to grill delicious BBQ and serve it up to residents all in the name of charity. If you are interested in joining the all-night grilling efforts, please send an email to social@meridianhoa.org.
This year’s charity benefactor is Kerry County Flood Relief. A suggested donation is $20 per adult, less for children. Food servings are biscuits, pork, chicken, sausage, and hot dogs. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. So come out and enjoy music, food, complimentary beverages, and the pool for an afternoon of fun!
Join us for the upcoming Community Garage Sale and Paper Shredding Event! Simply place your sale items on your driveway, add a few signs to guide shoppers, and the Social Committee will handle advertising to the greater Austin area. In addition, Data Armor will provide secure, on-site paper shredding in the pavilion parking lot from 10 AM to 12 PM (or until the truck is full). Drive up, hand over your documents, and watch them get shredded via a live camera feed. Each household may bring up to six standard-size boxes (16x12x10). Paper clips, staples, and small binder clips are allowed, but no books or ring binders. Please do not leave cardboard boxes—bring your documents in bags or take your boxes back home.
